Terms of Use

1. The service

ResumeRight provides online resume building, AI content optimization, job match analysis, and related tools. The templates, editor, resume import, and watermarked PDF export are free; AI features come with a free starter allowance, and higher limits plus watermark-free export are available on a paid membership (see section 2).

2. Billing, plans & refunds

Membership is offered as a Weekly Pass (a one-time payment that grants access for 7 days and does not auto-renew) and a Monthly Membership (a subscription that auto-renews every month until you cancel). Prices are shown on the Pricing section of the home page and are charged in US dollars.

Payments are processed by Stripe, our third-party payment processor. We do not receive or store your full card details. By purchasing you also agree to Stripe's terms.

You can cancel the Monthly Membership at any time from your account's billing portal; cancellation stops future renewals and you keep access until the end of the paid period. We offer a 7-day refund on any purchase. Contact info@resume-right.com within 7 days of the charge.

We may also issue redemption codes that grant or extend membership at no charge (for example, to compensate for an issue). Codes are non-transferable, have no cash value, and may expire.

3. Accounts

Using the editor requires signing in with a Google account. You are responsible for keeping access to that account secure; we can only identify you by it. Your resumes are saved to your account and are readable only by it. We may suspend an account that abuses the service. You can request deletion of your account and its data at any time. See the Privacy Policy.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Upload or process any illegal, infringing, or confidential content
• Use technical means to bypass usage limits or abuse the service
• Use AI output for academic fraud, misrepresentation, or other dishonest purposes
• Reverse engineer, scrape, or automate abuse of the product

5. Intellectual property

The product's template designs, code, logo, and branding belong to ResumeRight and may not be copied or used commercially without written permission.

The resume content you create with the product (including AI-optimized text) belongs to you; we claim no rights over it.

6. Changes & interruptions

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue part or all of the service at any time, and will give advance notice of major changes. We are not liable for interruptions caused by force majeure (server failures, third-party API outages, etc.), but will restore service as soon as possible.

7. Disclaimer

AI suggestions are for reference only and do not constitute professional HR advice. The final quality of your resume is your own responsibility. We are not liable for job-search outcomes resulting from resumes created with this product.

8. Changes to these terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continuing to use the product after changes means you accept the new terms. Questions? Contact info@resume-right.com
